Template Marketplace Terms

Last updated October 25, 2026

These terms apply when you share a template. They add to our Terms of Service.

1. What these terms cover

These terms apply when you share an app you built on Vaulter as a template, either publicly on the Templates page or privately with your workspace. They add to our Terms of Service, which still apply in full.

2. What you share

A template is a copy of your app's code and design, its name, description, categories and the screenshots you upload. Your data, keys, connected accounts and users are never copied. Example data in the app is copied, so it must not contain real people's details.

3. Your rights to share it

You confirm that you have the right to share everything in the template, including its code, text, images, fonts and screenshots, and that sharing it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break the law.

4. Screenshots

Screenshots must show the app you are sharing, using example data only. They must not show real customer information, personal details, passwords, keys or private messages, and must not be misleading about what the template does.

5. Review

Public templates and every update to them are reviewed before they appear on the Templates page. We may approve, reject or remove a template at our discretion, for example if it does not work, contains personal data, misrepresents itself or copies someone else's work. When we reject a version we tell you why, and you can change it and submit it again. While an update waits for review, the version already approved stays live.

6. Licence to others

You keep ownership of your template. You grant Vaulter the right to host, display and promote it, and you grant each person who uses it a worldwide, perpetual licence to copy, change and publish the app they make from it. Copies people have already made are theirs to keep, even if you later update, unpublish or delete the template.

7. Removing a template

You can unpublish or delete your template at any time. It then stops appearing on the Templates page, but apps already made from it are not affected.

8. No warranty

Templates are shared as they are. Neither you nor Vaulter promises that a template is free of errors or suitable for a particular purpose, and people who use a template are responsible for checking the app they make from it.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. A version you already submitted stays under the terms you accepted; submitting a new version means accepting the terms in force at that time.
